17th of November 2025 saw the official launch of the Ukrainian Voice UK as an advocacy group representing a coalition of Ukrainian organisations, charities, hubs and communities across the entire Great Britain. Our mission is to lead a coordinated, evidence-based effort to secure long-term stability for Ukrainians who arrived after Russia’s full-scale invasion.
The event was held at the Houses of Parliament concurrently with the formal presentation to Peers, MPs and various decision-makers of the University of Birmingham policy report titled Displaced Ukrainians in the UK: Experiences and Future Intentions.
The report, compiled by University of Birmingham researchers Sara Jones, Irina Kuznetsova and Natalia Kogut, follows a recent nationwide survey of nearly 3,000 displaced Ukrainians.
The report shows that uncertainty within the current visa scheme for this category of Ukrainians continues to create real challenges with housing, education and employment, leading to additional strains and mental health issues for these vulnerable people who are largely economically active and contributing to the UK.
