Last week our very own Simone Schehtman, Founder and Steering Group member of Ukrainian Voice UK, met with Minister for the Armed Forces, Al Carns, to discuss the position of displaced Ukrainians in the UK.
In the meeting, Mr Carns reiterated the Government’s ongoing commitment to supporting Ukraine and Ukrainians in UK. Simone emphasised to the Minister the impressive ways in which Ukrainians have integrated and the importance of long term stability in the UK, as highlighted by the ongoing work of the Ukraine Policy Network.
The contribution of the new Ukrainian diaspora remains immense and Government’s support unwavering.
